The GWS team is comprised of several motivated individuals dedicated to helping promote the organization’s mission. These students are leaders with diverse backgrounds representing a variety of experience and expertise.Â
Grant Huddleston is originally from Pittsburgh, PA and came to Atlanta to study finance and economics here at Emory. On campus, he is involved in AKPsi, GIMG, Scholars of Finance, and Alpha Tau Omega. He enjoys playing golf, lifting weights, and comedy movies. This past summer he worked at Blue Owl Capital in their Private Credit division in New York. This upcoming summer he will be interning with Lazard focusing on Healthcare M&A.
John Kim is a senior from Saratoga, CA, studying Finance and OAM at Emory University. On campus, he is involved in GIMG (Co-President) and AKPsi. He enjoys playing golf, watching soccer, and going to the gym. Previously, he worked at Houlihan Lokey, Woori Private Equity Asset Management, and Arcadia Investment Partners. This summer, he will be at Rothschild & Co. as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst (M&A + Restructuring) in New York City.
Elle Haushalter is an alumni from State College, PA, who graduated with a finance concentration at Emory University. During her tenure, she has served as GIMG’s Equity Fund CIO, Goizueta Career Management Center Lead Coach, Teaching Assistant for Advanced Corporate Finance and Global Macroeconomics, Sophomore Banking Academy Co-Director, and was a distance runner on the Varsity Cross Country and Track teams. Previously, she took part in Girl’s Who Invests’ Summer Intensive Program and Centerview Partners’ Investment Banking Summer Analyst Program in New York City. Upon graduation, she now works at Centerview Partners as a Full-time Analyst.
Claire Lantsman is a junior from Boston, MA, studying Finance and Economics at Emory University. On campus, she is involved in GIMG, EIIG, TAMID Group, and Alpha Delta Pi. She has worked at Accenture and American Express Global Business Travel and will spend this summer as a Girls Who Invest Summer Intensive Program Scholar.
Ankita Acharya is a senior from Cupertino, CA studying Finance and Economics at Emory University. On campus, she is a Fellow for the Center of Alternative Investments, an associate at the Peachtree Minority Venture Fund, and a co-Director of the Oxford Finance Academy. She has previously worked at Trophy Point Investment Group and Kline Hill Partners. This summer, she will be at Blackstone as a Private Credit Strategies Summer Analyst in San Francisco.
Will Farren is an alumni from Oak Park, IL, who studied Finance and Real Estate. During his time at Emory University, he co-founded Scholars of Finance, held 4 leadership positions in AKPsi, was an active member of SAE, Wonderful Wednesday, and Atlas Consulting group, and was a teaching assistant for 2 MBA classes and 4 undergraduate classes. He enjoys playing golf, wrestling, triathlons, and watching tennis. In terms of work experience, Will has worked at Chick-Fil-A, the Peakstone Group, Amgen, and Morgan Stanley. Upon graduation, he has returned to Morgan Stanley Healthcare IBD team in San Francisco.
Alex Corb is a senior from New York, NY studying Finance and OAM. On Campus, he has served as a Vice President of GIMG’s Equity Fund and is the Tamid Group Investment Fund President. He previously interned at H.I.G. Capital in their Infrastructure Fund and will be working in Investment Banking at Moelis this summer in New York.
Evan Woska is a senior from Marlboro, NJ studying finance. During his time at Emory University, he has participated in varsity cross country and track and field, held leadership roles in AKPsi, been an active member of GIMG and GIBC, and served as a teaching assistant for ACT 211, managerial accounting. He enjoys playing golf, the guitar, and the violin, as well as exploring new restaurants around Atlanta. Evan has previously worked at Dinan Capital Advisors as an investment banking intern on the industrials team. This summer he will be working in Investment Banking at Greenhill in NY.
Asher Forman is a junior from Houston, Texas studying Finance. On campus, he is involved in AKPsi, SOF, GIBC, and served as a teaching assistant for Tom Smith. He very much enjoys surfing, skiing, golf, and going to the gym. Asher has previously worked at a search fund based out of London and is now working at Marula Capital Group as an investment banking intern. This summer he will be continuing his work at Marula Capital Group.
Elisa Zoltick is a junior from Potomac, Maryland studying Finance and Information Systems at Emory University. During her time at Emory, she became involved in AKPsi, CYC, GWIF, and Alpha Delta Pi Sorority. She enjoys baking, the beach, country music, and Marvel movies. Elisa has previously worked at the American Bar Association in the Finance department and is spending this summer working at Hilton Corporate.
